Oral Surgery What is Oral Surgery? Oral surgery involves incising (cutting) the soft or hard tissues of the mouth. Anesthesia is needed to do this. Oral surgery is needed in cases of head trauma such as a pet who has been hit by a car or bitten by another dog. It is also needed when a mass or tumour is found in a pet's mouth. Under construction
